40mm Shock Piston

40mm OD x 12mm ID x 14mm H shock piston. Aluminium 7075, supplied with low-friction piston band and o-ring. (SHIMS NOT INCLUDED)

This part replaces the stock shock piston to get a MASSIVE improvement in terms of smoothness and temperature (friction) reduction.

Inertial mass is lowered by the significantly reduced weight of the piston over standard.

You will experience massive improvements in handling, comfort, traction and cornering.

4 large compression ports for better tunability, less chance for cavitation, gives a silky-smooth damping curve, easy to tune.

Rebound damping also offers large tunability and damping control.

Use 34mm OD shims on compression and 30mm OD shims on rebound
